American Heart Association (AHA) approved classes in ACLS, BLS, CPR/AED and PALS

Don’t be fooled by companies offering classes not approved by the American Heart Association and cards without the AHA logo. Very often these cards will not be accepted by medical provider employers.

Official “certification” programs require participants to perform a skills check-off after completing the online programs for ACLS, BLS, CPR/AED, and PALS.

East Coast Medical Training, Inc. provides only legitimate, competent, education vs. merely “getting a card.”

Only cards approved by the American Heart Association are issued by our company.

Our courses are accredited by various national organizations, so your certifications are always up to date. We have official courses from the AHA.

Our instructors are experts in their fields: doctors, nurses, medics, etc. They have years of hands-on experience which they use to create a comfortable but informative learning environment.

ECMT, Inc. is pleased to be servicing the needs of these area residents:

Florida – Orlando, Ft Lauderdale,  Gainesville, Jacksonville, Melbourne
Georgia – Atlanta, Savannah, Blairsville
South Carolina – Columbia, Charleston, Greenville
North Carolina – Charlotte, Raleigh, Greensboro
Tennessee – Nashville,  Memphis, Kingsport

ECMT, Inc. offers courses in ACLS, BLS, CPR/AED, and PALS with new classes due to be added soon.

Receiving Your Card

As of February 2018, all AHA courses (ACLS, BLS, CPR/AED, and PALS) will provide E-Cards to students. You MUST provide a valid and accurate email address at the time of registration in order to receive your E-Card.

Once a class is processed (3-5 business days), we will assign an E-Card to you. The AHA will send you an email containing the link needed to validate the card from ecards@heart.org. If you do not receive your link, please check your spam/junk/promotions folders before contacting the office. You MUST open the American Heart Association’s email and complete the steps in order for it to be valid. You will receive a special E-Card code which can be shared with your employer to verify that your card is valid and current. The validity of cards can be checked by students and employers at heart.org/cpr/mycards . We will send the E-Card code to your hospital’s Education Department or HR if they are a client of ours who paid for your courses or provided you with a discount code.

Renewal Courses

The American Heart Association’s policy regarding participants with expired cards entering renewal courses is as follows: “Students who present an expired Provider card at a renewal course will not be given the option of remediation (extra help and retesting after written or skills evaluation). They will need to repeat the entire provider course if they cannot successfully meet the course completion requirements when initially evaluated.“(AHA Program Administrative Manual, PG 51) Please review the study material prior to coming to course.

License Number

Please bring your license or certificate number with you to course. In order to receive your continuing education credits, your correct license or certificate number must be on the sign-in sheet prior to the end of the course.

Textbooks

Textbooks are mandatory for most courses. Textbooks (once opened) and shipping fees are non-refundable. If you chose to have a textbook shipped, please make sure you allowed sufficient time to receive it at least 24 hours prior to class.
